The project aims to investigate attitudes to animal sentience and welfare and identify modifying factors that affect public opinion associated with these subjects. The project will include conducting public surveys on attitudes to animals, starting in the autumn of 2015.
The project is co-supervised by Dr Alan McElligott and Dr Magda Osman (see contributors page) and is co-funded by the ESRC. The project is supported by World Animal Protection.
