My interests include all aspects of animal welfare, but with a particular interest in laboratory animals and livestock, animal cognition and sentience, human-animal interactions and belief in animal mind. More recently, my research investigates public views on animal sentience with the goal of improving understanding of attitudes towards animal welfare to allow targeted education and policy-based interventions.
